PANEL TRACK: SLIDING WINDOW TREATMENTS
PORTFOLIO

Design Solution for Sliding Doors, Room Dividers & Large Windows

The Panel Track system consists of narrow panels that stack to one side (or both) and then close for privacy. The panels run on an aluminum track with bottom hem weight bars. The fabric in the panels can be roller shade material, grasscloth or woven wood material. Woven wood materials usually have an edge binding to keep from fraying. Tracks are 2-5 channels that can hold 2-6 panels depending on configuration. Can fit openings up to 218" wide and 144" tall.

Larger fabric patterns can be fully displayed showing the print as it was intended. Most fabrics are simply hemmed at the side, but by adding a binding or trim, lace or woven wood materials can also be used. Screen fabrics are also ideal for this treatment as they are laser cut to avoid fraying along the edges. In addition, the panels are easy to maintain and remove for cleaning or to change décor at a moments notice.

As the operating hardware requires that panels stack behind one another, space must be available somewhere along the travel to accommodate these panels. If not, provisions can be made inside a wall to allow panels to disappear when not in use.
